Essential Job Functions: Meets with and escorts prospective homebuyers and real estate agents through the subdivision, model homes, and inventory homes under construction, and explain (sell) the features and benefits of buying a Richmond home. Analyzes financial qualifications of prospective homebuyers. Visits real estate offices (generally on days off) to distribute information and to solicit the realtor community for future business. Follows-up with homebuyers, realtors and lenders to achieve sales. Closes transactions and prepares contracts with homebuyers. Responsible for monitoring construction and mortgage status with regard to each homebuyer. Meets weekly with Mortgage Company to evaluate loan status in backlog; attends weekly sales meetings and production meetings to review the status of each contract in backlog with regard to construction and mortgage status. Periodically performs “walk-throughs" of a client’s house to insure construction is being performed per the Construction Order of the contract and to escort homebuyers when they desire to view their home under construction (OSHA Regulations). Responsible for securing models at the end of the day. Scope: Contributes through specific expertise at the department level. No supervisory responsibilities, but must coordinate several functions in order to achieve goals. Communicates frequently with business partners.

Key Job Elements The Course Facilitator supports learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively supports all facets of course delivery.  S/He handles classroom and administrative responsibilities in support of the M.A. program in Design and Media Management being delivered via distance employing synchronous and asynchronous methods.  In addition, the Facilitator will support the recruitment of new students and the retention of enrolled students.  S/He encourages a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning and ethics as well as personal and professional development. This position is part time/adjunct but is expected to evolve into a full-time capacity.  The Facilitator must be able to work remotely with the main Miami campus in addition to working with the local Art Institute campus.
